for Delegate Services |
Kasia was born and raised in Białystok and currently studies at IB World School No. 6159 as one of the inquiring students of International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. She loves conversations but not small talks. She is addicted to travel and tennis, but decided to link her future with business and public relations.
As one of the organizers of worldwide conference, the Wolves Summit held in the Palace of Culture and Science, she gained a lot of organizational experience and met astonishingly talented and inspiring people. The school introduced her to the Model United Nations environment as Kasia started her MUN journey by being a delegate in in-school Model General Assembly and then one in UNWTO committee at LodzMUN. After participating in few of such conferences she decided to take part in organizing BiaMUN and committed herself to lead the team responsible for contact with delegates before and during the conference as well as for designated Help Desk. |
Jan Sadowski
Under Secretary-General
for Finances |
Aside from managing the financial side of our MUN endeavour, Janek is an IB DP student at IB World School No. 6159. He may be seen as a pure nerd whose evenings are worthless without a couple of maths, chemistry or physics problems, but he is definitely not afraid of new experiences, often far different from the ones he is familiar with. That’s probably how he got interested in MUNs, international politics and debating notwithstanding their lack of connection to science he's so passionate about (for which passion, among others, he was awarded an academic scholarship by the Mayor of Białystok). Besides, he's attracted to learning foreign languages which at the moment include English, German and Chinese, and would like to encourage you to come to Białystok.

Wojciech K. Lach
Under Secretary-General
for External Services and Fundraising |
When asked “Why do you want to organize BiaMUN?” Wojtek almost instantly replied “Came here for CAS [IB program encompassing compulsory volunteering], stayed for people and socials”.
His passion for debating started in junior high, but really began to develop in the IB programme (not only for CAS) as he is now an active and engaged member of Białystok Debating Society. Fundraising and External services are really his vibe as he intends to study business as an undergraduate. He’s (overly) talkative, especially at social events. You’ll probably hear something in the areas of politics, coffee, sneakers, windsurfing and skiing if you ever happen to encounter him. Wojtek is open to new people and connections so do not be afraid to initiate a conversation once in Białystok. |
